    • Teaching Tip: Use a silhouette with a qualification target attached over the vital areas. This will demonstrate that an individual’s shot group placement hits well with-in the vital area.
    • Teaching Tip: On a 3D target showing vitals on one side, drill holes through the target. Place red dowel rods through the animal at various locations, which will represent bullet paths. When turned around to make the vital visible, students can see which organs the bullets hit.
